International Shipping and Product Policy

International Shipping

All international orders are shipped via FedEx International Priority, included in the flat shipping rate paid. The estimated delivery time is 4-7 business days once tracking becomes available. Customers are encouraged to monitor their tracking information for updates. Please note that delivery times may vary depending on the destination country’s customs processing time and any local postal delays.

 

Domestic Shipping

Domestic orders from the IBD Shop are shipped via UPS Ground, with an estimated delivery time of 3-5 business days once tracking becomes available. If an item is out of stock, we may split your order to ensure prompt delivery from the vendor. The shipping method may vary and could include alternatives like USPS if necessary. Customers will be notified via automatic email if their order will be shipped in multiple packages.

 

Order Changes

Once an order has been submitted, we are unable to change or modify it. Please review your order carefully before finalizing the purchase. If you realize you made a mistake after placing your order, please contact us immediately at [email protected]. While we cannot guarantee changes, we will do our best to accommodate your request if the order has not yet been processed.

 

Responsibility and Liability of International Shipping

CrohnsColitisLifestyle and/or Dane Johnson are not liable for any damage or loss of products shipped internationally. Once the product leaves the United States, you assume full responsibility for any penalties, fees, damages, or withholding of the product by customs, police, shipping companies, or other regulatory bodies. It is recommended that you familiarize yourself with your country’s import policies to avoid any unexpected issues.

 

Duties, Customs, and Fees

International orders may be subject to additional customs taxes and duties, which are the responsibility of the purchaser/importer. While we strive to assist with any customs issues that arise, we are not responsible for the withholding of products or any penalties imposed by customs authorities. Customers are advised to check their local customs regulations before placing an order.

 

Damaged or Expired Products

If you receive a damaged or expired product, please contact us at [email protected] within 7 days of receiving your order. We will request a picture of the damage or expiration date to facilitate a resolution. Each case will be handled individually to ensure customer satisfaction. Depending on the situation, we may offer a replacement product, store credit, or other solutions.

 

Freight Company Responsibility

The freight company may be held responsible for damages and delays. They have successfully refunded product costs in many countries. Contacting the third-party shipping company is your best option for compensation for damaged, delayed, or unwanted products. We recommend keeping all shipping documentation and evidence of the product’s condition upon arrival to support your claim. Additionally, filing a claim with the freight company as soon as possible increases the likelihood of a successful resolution.

 

Returns

We accept returns within two weeks of the delivery date within the US, provided the products remain unopened. To initiate a return, please contact us at [email protected]. You are responsible for return shipping charges, and we advise using a reliable shipping method with tracking. Refunds will be processed once the returned items are received and inspected. Please allow up to 10 business days for the refund to appear on your original method of payment.
