Dr. Kuchenbrod’s journey into the world of health and wellness began with a personal battle against severe UC and pancolitis, diagnosed after enduring symptoms for many years. This experience not only ignited his pursuit of true health but also fueled his passion for helping thousands of others around the globe facing similar challenges.
Dr. Kuchenbrod’s commitment to understanding the human body and leading a healthy lifestyle led him to pivot from NCAA baseball in college to studying medicine. He earned a bachelor’s degree in public health from the University of South Carolina, where he also contributed to the athletic training staff for the Gamecock football team. Following his graduation, he became certified in holistic nutrition and furthered his education at the National University of Health Sciences, one of the nation’s premier alternative medical schools. There, he obtained his Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) degree along with a post-doctoral certification in functional nutrition. Throughout his academic journey, Thomas accumulated numerous certifications, including Clinical Laboratory Diagnosis, Diagnostic Imaging, Human Body Dissection, Internship in Chiropractic Medicine, and Physiological Therapeutics. He also served as a teaching assistant, training the next wave of DCs and NDs in Chicago.
Dr. Kuchenbrod’s professional career includes a year at a multidisciplinary clinic in Florida, where he treated patients suffering from chronic pain, autoimmune issues, and post-surgical recovery.
In 2020, he joined Crohn’s Colitis Lifestyle, working alongside Dane. Over the years, he has taken on multiple roles within the organization, such as customer service specialist, SHIELD coach, private coach, and management positions. Currently, Dr. Kuchenbrod is part of the executive team, where he plays a pivotal role in enhancing the company for clients and launching new projects.
Outside of his professional life, Dr. Kuchenbrod is married to his high school sweetheart, Kat, who shares his passion for functional medicine. In his free time, Thomas enjoys attending live sporting events, playing pickleball, and traveling.
