Dr. Chao is a highly qualified healthcare professional with a Bachelor’s degree in Nutritional Science and Dietetics from the University of Arizona. Dr. Chao holds a Master’s degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from Bastyr University, followed by a Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine (ND) from the same institution. Dr. Chao is currently on the verge of completing his DC at the National University of Health Sciences.

His commitment to community service is evident through his volunteer work at Gilbert Hospital in the Emergency Room and Operating Room for three months, as well as his 18-month tenure at the Diabetes Prevention and Education Clinic. His dedication to holistic healthcare is further exemplified by five years of volunteer service with the Bastyr Sports Medicine Club, where he served as President for one year and as an Advisor for an additional year.

Dr. Chao completed his CNME Residency at the Seattle Nature Cure Clinic in Seattle, WA, specializing in functional medicine, integrative medicine acupuncture, sports medicine, and injection therapy.
